Chronic Pain (Fibromyalgia)

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, often accompanied by fatigue, sleep disturbances, memory issues, and mood changes. The exact cause is not fully understood, but it is believed to involve the brain amplifying pain signals, possibly due to genetics, infections, or physical or emotional trauma. People with fibromyalgia may also experience tenderness in specific areas of the body, difficulty concentrating (often referred to as "fibro fog"), and headaches. Physical therapy can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
